Traditional New Year's Day Concert 2018

Back by popular demand, our concert welcomed in the new year with walzes, polka's and toe-tapping marches.

Music included:
Strauss II - Die Fledermaus Overture, Tritsch Tratsch Polka and The Beautiful Blue Danube.
Strauss I - Radetzky March
Richard Rodney Bennett - Murder on the Orient Express Waltz
A Guid New Year arranged by our founder conductor Geoff Davidson.
Shostakovich – Waltz from Jazz Suite No.2.
Lerner and Loewe, Arr. Robert Russell Bennett - Brigadoon Symphonic Picture



We were excited to be joined by local Soprano, Emma Nuule.

Emma treated us to a selection of delicious aria's including, Rodgers & Hammerstein 'If I Loved You' from Carousel, Lerner & Loewe 'I Could Have Danced All Night' from My Fair Lady and Puccini's 'O Mio Babbino Caro' from Gianni Schicchi.
